Your account

• Deleted immediately: your sign-in identity (email address, name, password) and all your shares.
• Permanently deleted within minutes: your account and your enrolled computers. The short delay is each machine being retired cleanly — its certificate revoked and its private-network address released.
• Never held, so nothing to delete: your files. They never left your computer. To remove Mive from a machine, uninstall it on that machine.
• We keep no backup of your account after this purge. An abuse report already filed is retained with your identity stripped from it.

You don't have to erase everything to take back control. Each of these is done from the Mive app, on phone or computer, and takes effect immediately:

• Remove a computer: "My computers" → pick it → remove. Its record is deleted, its certificate revoked and its network address released.
• Delete a share: "My shares" for ones you created, "Shared with me" for ones you received. The share record is deleted from our servers.
• Clear your blocked-people list: Account → "Blocked people" → unblock.
• Erase your name: "Edit profile" above, leaving the fields empty. Your email address is required to sign in, so it can only be removed by deleting the account.
